Dicks Nationals Quarterfinal Wrapup

The Dick’s Nationals tournament kicked off on Thursday at Christ The King High School in New York and even though some higher seeds were knocked off, none of the results were considered big upsets. Findlay Prep will face Oak Hill Academy and Huntington St. Joseph Prep will face Montverde Academy in Friday’s semifinals.

Tournament Headed To The Garden

The National High School Invitational (NHSI), a end-of-season tournament that has featured some of the nation’s best teams over the past five years, will be moving from Maryland to New York City with a new title sponsor. The event’s championship game will take place at Iconic Madison Square Garden on April 5.

FAB 50 No. 6 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) won the Platinum Division of the Tarkanian Classic for the second consecutive year, outlasting No. 27 Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland, Calif.) in overtime. Tournament will shake up national rankings picture as No. 2 Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) loses twice at event. Check story for other national updates.
