                    The argument can be made that the best basketball in the nation is now being played in the Philadelphia/Eastern Pennsylvania/South Jersey Area.  And if you don't believe it, just look at the quality of talent that the area is currently producing.  6'4 Wayne Ellington from Merion Station (Episcopal Academy) PA is ranked #3 nationally in the senior class by the HOOP SCOOP; 6'5 Gerald Henderson from Merion Station (Episcopal Academy) PA and 7'0 Brian Zoubek from Haddonfield (Memorial) NJ also are near locks to make the McDonald's All-American Team; 6'4 Reggie Reading from Philadelphia (St. Joseph's Prep) PA, 6'5 Earl Pettis from Philadelphia (St. John Neumann) PA, and 6'2 Darrin Govens from Chester (H.S.) PA are legitimate top 100-ranked seniors; and 6'8 Dennis Horner from Absecon (Holy Spirit) NJ, 6'10 Andrew Ott from Ft.
